POLICE sniffer dogs pounced on 13 people who were arrested for drug offences at the Listen Out festival.
Officers seized drugs including ecstasy and amphetamines, cocaine and prescription drugs.
Police also confiscated a significant amount of MDMA with a street value of around $ 10,000.
A 28-year-old Brighton man was charged with trafficking a drug of dependence and bailed to appear in court at a later date.
Twelve others also received drug diversions.
Senior Sergeant Mark Pilkington said the operation aimed to stop people before they brought drugs into the event.
”These drugs are extremely dangerous. They are manufactured by criminals and users have no way of knowing what they’re actually ingesting or the real risks involved,” he said.
”Police will continue to conduct these operations across the state to target drug traffickers and reduce the impact of drugs in the community.”
