Tegan Martin from NSW has been crowned Miss Universe Australia.
It is the third time lucky for the 21-year-old who has finished second in the competition twice before.
The Novocastrian beat 30 other hopefuls for the title and will represent Australia at the international final later this year.
It has been a decade since our gorgeous Jennifer Hawkins was crowned Miss Universe and tonight Australia’s most beautiful women were vying for the $ 150,000 Hearts on Fire Crown and the much-coveted title, Miss Universe Australia.
All 31 contestants took to the stage and were judged on swimwear, eveningwear, and the question and answer at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.
The judges included star of New Housewives of Melbourne, Gina Liano, and renowned choreographer and producer, Jason Coleman.
NSW had seven girls bidding for glory including fellow Novocastrian and Jennifer Hawkins lookalike Natalie Roser.
