After a controversial time touring Australia, its no wonder that Justin Bieber just wanted to bury is head in the sand.
But even when he was trying to enjoy some downtime at the famous Wategos Beach in Byron Bay, it seems the cocky pop star failed to catch a break.
Justin, 19, was seen showing off his impressively-honed physique, but less than impressive skills on the water as he attempted a surfing lesson.

The pop star and his crew headed to the celeb-friendly seaside town on Wednesday morning after the star performed the first of his Aussie Believe concerts in Brisbane the night before.
They headed south from their hotel at Surfers Paradise and drove to the beach in sun-kissed Byron Bay.
Justin stripped off for his first session learning to surf with an instructor, and showed off his Ralph Lauren underwear beneath his swimming trunks.

But sadly he was a bit of a novice and didn’t manage to stand up for long, even though he and instructors high-fived his achievement.
After that he headed to the beach to pose and relax.
TMZ reported how Justin has caused yet more controversy on his world tour this week, when he went on a ‘graffiti rampage’ after a concert.

The site claims that authorities in Queensland are aware of Justin’s handy work, but so far no complaint has been made.

But the singer’s manager Scooter Braun has been doing his best to play down the drama.
Recently the manager recealed that actor Will Smith drove to Justin’s house and pulled him out of bed for a three-hour talk when he returned home from the controversial European leg of his ‘Believe’ tour in May.
Scooter recalled Justin’s reaction, revealing: “He said, ‘Man, that makes me feel so loved. I woke up, and there’s Will Smith, one of, if not the, biggest movie stars on the planet. He took time out of his day for me.’ “

Scooter told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘He’s telling me, “Justin’s got to go through it. You can’t stop him from going through it. That’s youth in itself. He’s a young man who’s growing up, and that’s what makes him interesting and relatable. Otherwise, he’d be some kind of weird robot.” ‘
The After Earth actor isn’t the only star to voice concern for Justin, as Scooter claims he’s fielded calls from Oprah Winfrey, Mark Wahlberg and Adam Levine, all of whom have reached out in support of the star.

The star’s manager added: ‘He’ll text me, like, “What the hell is going with this? I’m p***ed. I’m calling him right now. I’m about to go in on him.” Drake is like a big brother to Justin. And Justin really looks up to Drake. They have an extremely special relationship.’
Justin recently hit the headlines after he partied with a bevy of beauties in Brazil and bedded 27-year-old Tati Neves Barbosa while on tour in the South American country.
Earlier this month, he made guests at a party at his Calabasas mansion in Los Angeles County sign a confidentiality agreement before they could come in.
